Econova Corporate manages the conversion of liquid sulphur generated during refining processes into a solid, stable, and environmentally safe product.
Utilizing German IPCO Process System technology, the company operates both Rotoform solidification lines (to produce uniform premium pastilles) and Drum Solidification systems.
These processes ensure highly stable granules with minimal dust generation, perfectly suited for authorized warehouse storage and subsequent industrial handling.
Plant management & supervision
Econova Corporate provides specialized operational management, technical support, and supervision services for third-party sulphur solidification plants.
Leveraging over three decades of expertise and deep technical mastery of IPCO Process System technology, the company ensures optimal process management, targeted maintenance, and uninterrupted plant operation.
Our technical assistance and consultancy capabilities have also been proven internationally, such as in the Mellitah Gas facility in Libya.
Turnkey plant engineering & construction
Econova Corporate designs and constructs third-party sulphur solidification plants on a Turnkey basis, managing every phase of the project execution.
Our scope includes basic and detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and subsequent operational management.
Notable achievements include the installation and operation of the solidification plant built inside the Saras Refinery in Sarroch.
Sulphur handling & logistics
Econova Corporate provides a fully integrated supply chain with total logistical independence for the storage, transport, and maritime shipping of solid sulphur.
Through the group’s port company, Poseidon srl, operating at the Commercial Port of Augusta, we manage warehouse storage and dry bulk vessel loading (granulometry from 2 to 10 mm) using mobile Ship Loader equipment.
In Taranto, operations include a dedicated terminal for receiving, storing, and shipping liquid sulphur via a specialized truck-loading rack.
