Econova Corporate is an Italian industrial company specializing in third-party liquid sulphur solidification services for the petrochemical and energy sectors.
As part of the Nico S.p.A. group, the company operates through two solidification plants located in Melilli (SR) and Taranto, integrating the production supply chain with the group’s port handling company, Poseidon srl, at the Commercial Port of Augusta.
With over thirty years of field experience, Econova supports major international refineries by ensuring operational continuity, high safety standards, and an independent logistical infrastructure.
The group
Econova Corporate constitutes the strategic sulphur solidification division within the Nico S.p.A. industrial group (family-owned), providing specialized services for the Oil & Gas sector.
The supply chain integrates entities with distinct roles: Econova Corporate (Melilli) handles solidification and storage for multiple sites in Sicily;
Econova Apulia (Taranto) exclusively serves the Eni Refinery in Taranto;
and the port company Poseidon srl manages dry bulk sea-loading operations at the Port of Augusta.
